On April 23–24, 2026, the Faculty of Finance, Economics and Professional Education of Hryhorii Skovoroda University in Pereiaslav hosted the 19th International Scientific and Practical Conference “Conditions for Economic Growth in Countries with Market Economies,” dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the university. It is worth noting that Comrat State University has maintained close academic and scientific cooperation with this institution for over 15 years and participated in the conference as an official partner.
At the plenary session, a presentation was delivered by Professor Dr. habil. Alla Levitskaia. The study entitled “A Life Cycle Approach to the Analysis of Women’s Entrepreneurship Development” highlights modern methodological approaches to examining women’s entrepreneurial activity through the stages of business development—from idea generation to maturity and transformation.
The plenary session also featured research by Professor Zakharii Varnalii on the role of de-offshorization as a tool for strengthening financial security, as well as by Bulgarian Professor Mitko Hitov on the economic aspects of population exchange in the Balkans in the context of nation-state formation.
Special attention was given to presentations addressing current challenges of the digital economy and financial technologies, as well as financial and credit support instruments for entrepreneurship. The conference served as an important international platform for academic dialogue, bringing together leading scholars, educators, business representatives, and young researchers from various countries.
