On 29 August 2025, Comrat State University welcomed a participant of the prestigious international Fulbright Program – Maya Watson, a citizen of the United States. During the introductory meeting, she was warmly received by the staff of the Department of International Relations and the faculty of the Department of Foreign Languages**. The Rector of CSU, Assoc., Prof. PhD Serghei Zaharia, emphasized the importance of this cooperation, noting that the participation of Fulbright representatives opens new horizons of academic and cultural interaction for the university. Throughout the academic year, Maya Watson will actively engage in the life of the university: teaching English classes, taking part in student and cultural events, and contributing to the development of CSU’s international cooperation. The arrival of a Fulbright participant at CSU is a significant step towards strengthening the university’s international partnerships, expanding opportunities for students and faculty, and enhancing the level of internationalization of the educational process.
