At Comrat State University, the Faculty of Law held a round table on the topic: "Analysis of Judicial Decisions: Structure and Key Elements of Court Rulings"

On October 24, 2024, the round table was held at the Faculty of Law. The event was organized by the Head of the Department of Private Law, Assoc. Prof., Dr., Olga Tatar, in collaboration with third-year law students. During the round table, students presented their findings in presentations that examined the structure and main elements of judicial decisions in detail. It was discussed that judicial decisions serve three main functions: informing the parties about the court's conclusions and the grounds for them, informing the public about the law, and requiring the judge to clearly substantiate their conclusions. A judicial decision must be clear and logical, reflecting the rule of law and clarifying the judge's position. Students emphasized the importance of avoiding premature conclusions and considering only those issues relevant to the case. They also highlighted that court decisions lacking significant points cannot achieve their purpose and will not effectively serve their function. At the end of the round table, the participants concluded that a persuasive decision results from a logical process of justification, which should be applicable in practice. The event evoked positive emotions among students and contributed to their deep understanding of judicial activities, as well as the development of analytical and critical thinking skills.
