The students learned that the institution actively implements various activities aimed at the social adaptation of convicts: sports competitions are held, an internal newspaper “Speranță” is published, a library operates, and there is also a church. All these elements are aimed at developing social skills among convicts and preparing them for reintegration into society.

During the visit, participants were also introduced to the особенностей of different detention regimes, including the open regime, living conditions, and the organization of labor and daily life of convicts.

The practical part of the visit allowed students to see how theoretical knowledge is applied in practice: they visited classrooms, visiting rooms, the food unit, and other functional areas of the institution.

Particular interest was generated by communication with the penitentiary staff, who answered students’ questions in detail and spoke about the specifics of the service and employment opportunities within the system.

Following the visit, students noted that the experience gained was not only informative but also truly useful for their professional development, allowing them to better understand the real mechanisms of the penitentiary system.
