A working meeting with representatives of the Institute of Ecology and Geography of the Moldova State University was held at the Faculty of Economics of Comrat State University.
The event was attended by: the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Dr., Associate Professor Liudmila Todorici; Dr., Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Accounting and Finance Maria Сarabet; Dr., Associate Professor, Head of the Research Center “Progress” named after D. M. Parmacli Tatiana Dudoglo; Associate Professor, Leading Researcher Mihail Hachi; Dr., Associate Professor, Leading Researcher Dorin Lozovanu; Researcher Sergiu Baciu and Researcher Veaceslav Șendrea (Institute of Ecology and Geography, Moldova State University).
During the meeting, current issues and prospects for the socio-economic development of the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia were discussed. Particular attention was paid to opportunities for scientific cooperation, exchange of expertise, and joint work on analytical and research projects aimed at the sustainable development of the region.
The participants emphasized the importance of further strengthening scientific and institutional partnership aimed at regional development and improving the quality of socio-economic research.
