The main purpose of the visit was to discuss the creation and opening of the Center of Bulgarian Culture, the conclusion of agreements on internships and participation in various exchange programs for students and teachers between the Universities of Bulgaria and CSU.
The main tasks of the functioning of the Center of Bulgarian Culture at CSU are the following:
- to research and popularize the Bulgarian language and literature, culture, customs and traditions;
- to organize and celebrate the official and national holidays of the Bulgarians;
- to develop the educational programs for additional education;
- to provide the educational services in the field of studying the Bulgarian language and literature;
- to format of a high-quality resource and methodological base for students and academic staff;
- to continue the professional development of employees;
The guests from the Embassy and Consulate of R. Bulgaria were introduced to the work of the CSU language centers https://kdu.md/ , which are actively functioning and cooperating in various scientific and research projects and grants.
Tatiana Rakovchena, Ph.D., Associate Professor of CSU and Larisa Boykova, Ph.D., Associate Professor of CSU, told in detail about the scientific and educational activities of the University, that are aimed at supporting and the study of the Bulgarian cultural heritage, history, language and literature of the Bulgarian people.
The Bulgarian delegation visited the Russian Center, the American Center, the Turkish Center, the Information Center of Romania, the Center for Continuing Education, the Center for the Integrated University Management System for the COMPASS project, the TEACH ME Center for the Erasmus + project, the Euro Center and the CSU’s Reading Hall.
The purpose of the activities of the CSU centers https://kdu.md/ is to provide services and help improve the level of language skills of CSU students and residents of the region, to improve their future career opportunities and personal development through the realization of the right to education throughout life.
The parties will continue to make efforts to improve cooperation in this direction and will assist in the opening of the Center of Bulgarian Culture at CSU.
