Within the framework of the project “Improving skills in laboratory practice for Agri-Food specialists in Eastern Europe” (Ag-Lab) Program Erasmus +, project KA2 n ° 586383-EPP-1-2017-1-SI-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP (2017- 2978 / 001-001), a scientific and practical training was organized at the University of Teramo https://www.unite.it/UniTE/Engine/RAServePG.php, Italy on October 17-22, 2021. The Representatives of Comrat State University https://kdu.md/ , Rector, Ph.D. Serghei Zaharia and Ph.D. Stepan Varban, Faculty of Agriculture took part in the work of this event.
The thematic areas of the training sessions were devoted to the issues of innovative strategies in the field of production and processing of crop and livestock products, food safety and environmental protection.
The training workshops covered theoretical presentations, visits to research laboratories and production facilities, as well as broad thematic discussions. There is reason to assert that the proposed program of training sessions was able to truly awaken the research interest of participants in the issues discussed and mobilize EU partners to further unite efforts in solving pressing food problems of our time.
All mobility projects under Erasmus + aim to help each participant develop the necessary skills, improve their professional level and deepen their understanding of other cultures. They also aim to increase the capacity, attractiveness and international openness of the participating organizations.
We express our gratitude to the moderator, Prof. COMPAGNONE Dario, https://www.unite.it/UniTE/Engine/RAServePG.php for the high level of organization of all program events during the stay of the Ag-Lab project participants in Italy.
