DRAWING CONTEST SPECIFICATIONS
CONTEST
It is a painting contest on "July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day" to be organized among young people between the ages of 10 ? 18 living in Moldova.
SCOPE OF THE COMPETITION:
This specification covers the procedures and principles regarding those who will participate in the competition whose purpose and subject are specified above, the conditions to be sought in the works, the form of application, the evaluation to be made, the awarding and award ceremony and the calendar of the competition.
PURPOSE OF THE COMPETITION:
- To raise awareness of young people living in Moldova by ensuring that they are informed about current issues with the theme of "July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day",
- To ensure that young people living in Moldova comprehend the social, cultural and historical values of the Republic of Turkey with the theme of "July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day",
- Raising young people living in Moldova with the theme of "July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day" as citizens with universal democratic and ethical values and an individual consciousness that protects, develops and glorifies the flag, nation, country and state, and raising their awareness on these issues,
- To ensure that the international community better understands that FETÖ is a threat not only to Turkey but also to the democracies of many other countries, and to emphasize the message that Turkey will fight against FETÖ and other national and international threats with determination.
EXPLANATIONS ABOUT THE CONTEST
- Contest conditions and explanations will be announced on the social media platforms and official websites of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Chisinau and its sub-units.
- The contestants will submit their works to the Embassy on 14.07.2022 by mail to the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Chisinau, Education Counselor's Office Str. Alexei Mateevici, 55, MD-2009 Chisinau. The works received by the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Chisinau after the deadline will not be evaluated.
- The participants of the competition agree that they will not demand any royalties from their works, that they bear all legal responsibility for their works, and that they transfer all rights of disposition on their works to the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Chisinau.
- The works to be submitted will be evaluated by the evaluation commission to be established by the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Chisinau.
- The decisions of the Evaluation Commissions are final and cannot be appealed.
- The first three winning works will be awarded by the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Chisinau. Prizes will be determined later.
- Participants in the competition will be deemed to have accepted all the issues specified in this specification.
- The prizes will be awarded to the winning young people at the ceremony to be held by our Embassy on 15.07.2022. The place and time of the ceremony will be notified to the winners separately.
- The Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Chisinau is authorized to resolve all issues outside the scope of this specification and application principles and to resolve any disputes that may arise.
Technical Conditions:
- Each contestant will participate in the competition with only one painting.
- The works submitted to the competition must not have been previously participated in any competition or published anywhere.
- The paintings will be made on 35x50 cm drawing paper.
- All kinds of painting techniques and paint materials can be used (watercolor, pastel paint, oil paint, dry paint, gouache paint, etc.).
- The paintings will be packaged and sent to the Chisinau Embassy without being crumpled and rolled.
- Absolutely no information will be written on the front side of the painting and each contestant will write his/her information on the back side of his/her work in accordance with the label format below.
