A meeting of the partners of the project "WIDENING OPPORTUNITIES FOR RESEARCH COLLABORATIONS" was held in the Republic of Moldova on November 27-29
The project coordinator is the Linkoping University (Sweden), the project partners are the Comrat State University, the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia and the Armenian State University of Economics.
On November 27, the working groups of the partners visited the National Agency for Research and Development of the Republic of Moldova (NARD)
Vadim YATSKEVICH, Director of NARD, made a presentation on "Enhancing Moldovan Research internationalization in the context of global R&D Landscape and International cooperation"
Vitaly MORARU, Head of the national office of Horizon Europe made a presentation on "Creation and functioning of the "Horizon Europe" national office in Moldova. Presentation of successful projects with Moldovan participation"
Janerik LUNDQUIST, Coordinator of the Project, Professor at Linkoping University (LiU), spoke about the vision of internationalizing research at universities in Armenia and Moldova using best European practices.
At the end of the working meeting, the directions of joint project activities and proposals for new common projects were discussed
On November 28, working groups of partners visited the Comrat State University, where the experience of CSU in the field of internationalization of research was presented.
Svjetlana STEKOVIC, Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer and EU Senior Coordinator (LiU) presented the experience of internationalization of research and management using the example of Linkoping University
The armenian and moldavian partners also presented short academic courses on research management with a special focus on international research cooperation.
On November 29, the partners took part in the dissimination international conference “CONNECTING RESEARCHERS” at the Moldovan State University.
Moldovan universities, including: Technical University of Moldova, Academy of Economic Research, Balti State University, Cahul State University, State Pedagogical University presented their experience in promoting the internationalization of scientific research.
The participants held discussions with the planning of subsequent joint events and presented proposals for new joint projects.
