Climate Education Game “KEEP COOL” Held at Comrat State University

On June 16, 2025, Comrat State University hosted an educational board game session titled "KEEP COOL – a climate game of strategy and risk" in the Tekwill Comrat hall. The game focused on global issues related to climate change and sustainable development. Teams composed of teachers and students from various faculties took part in the event. Participants took on the roles of representatives of different countries and economic blocs, faced with the challenge of developing their economies and achieving political goals while maintaining the planet’s climate balance. The game unfolded in an engaging and dynamic atmosphere. Players competed by making strategic decisions: constructing and dismantling factories, introducing innovations, and striving to meet economic and political objectives without triggering catastrophic climate consequences. The core message of the game was to illustrate how difficult it is in practice to find a balance between economic development and environmental protection. All participants expressed their satisfaction with the activity, noting its educational value and the opportunity to try themselves in a new, unique, and highly relevant area. The game sparked great interest and encouraged the development of critical thinking and teamwork skills.
