On July 31, 2025, the first official business meeting took place between the Rector of Comrat State University, Zaharia Serghei, and the Rector of University of Galați (Romania), Andi Cornelius Pușca.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for partnership between the two universities, noting shared strategic goals in the areas of academic mobility, scientific cooperation, and the development of joint educational programs.
Rector of CSU Zaharia Serghei emphasized that the university leadership attaches great importance to the development of international academic relations. He pointed out that the meeting with representatives of the University of Galați once again demonstrated that both institutions share similar priorities and aspirations in education and science.
Rector of the University of Galați, Andi Cornelius Pușca, expressed confidence that the established dialogue with Comrat State University opens up new horizons for productive cooperation. According to him, the partnership between the universities can become a solid foundation for successful projects and intercultural interaction.
The meeting concluded with mutual readiness to continue cooperation and the discussion of concrete steps for the implementation of planned initiatives.
