On November 5, 2025, a financial literacy seminar was held at Thekwill Comrat, organized by the Faculty of Economics of Comrat State University in collaboration with the National Bank of Moldova.
The lecture was conducted by representatives of the National Bank of Moldova – Dorina Filat, Expert Consultant of the Department of Payment Infrastructure and Supervision of Other Institutions, and Natalia Russu, Chief Expert of the Financial Technologies Department.
The event took place in a warm and businesslike atmosphere, bringing together students, faculty, and representatives of the financial sector. The welcoming speech was given by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Doctor of Economics, Todorici Liudmila, who emphasized the importance of increasing financial awareness among youth.
The main purpose of the meeting was to inform students about modern financial instruments and to familiarize them with current trends in the development of the country’s financial system.
The final part of the meeting served as an example of constructive dialogue between the professional community and future economists.
