On December 1, 2025, Comrat State University, with the support of the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, officially launched the university course “Ethics and Academic Integrity,” which is fundamental for modernizing the educational process and strengthening the culture of integrity in the academic environment. The course is designed for all students in higher education institutions across the Republic of Moldova and aims to develop ethical competencies, responsible behavior, and the ability to identify moral risk situations in academic and professional activities.
The first beneficiaries of this course were the students of the Faculty of Economics, who actively participated in the instructional sessions and demonstrated interest in the values of integrity, fairness, and academic responsibility.
The course sessions were delivered by Ana Sacara, Doctor of Law, university lecturer at the Department of Private Law of the Faculty of Law, CSU, and Evgheni Hadji, jurist of Comrat State University.
Under their guidance, students deepened their understanding of academic ethics, discussed practical situations, and analyzed the legal implications of integrity violations.
By launching this course, CSU firmly reaffirms its commitment to promoting ethics, integrity, and responsibility among students and academic staff, strengthening an academic community in which honesty and respect for university standards serve as core values.
The University will continue to develop educational initiatives dedicated to ethics, support activities aimed at preventing academic misconduct, and train generations of ethical and responsible professionals prepared to face the challenges of modern society
