The orientation conference for second-year students of group NDP-24 was held on March 2, 2026, and was aimed at preparing students for their pedagogical practice (second specialization) in early education institutions of the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia. According to the curriculum of the specialty 0113.1/0112.1 “Primary Education Pedagogy. Preschool Pedagogy”, the practice will take place from March 9, 2026 to April 5, 2026.

During the conference, students were introduced to the official order regarding the practice, its goals and objectives, the rights and responsibilities of student trainees, the list of practical tasks, and the requirements for the content and formatting of the reporting documentation. Special attention was given to explaining the concept, functions, and specifics of this pedagogical practice and its role in developing the professional competencies of future educators in early education institutions.

The main goal of the pedagogical practice is to develop students’ professional knowledge, pedagogical skills, and professionally significant personal qualities of an educator. During the practice, students will have the opportunity to become familiar with the specifics of early education institutions, the organization of a developmental learning environment, and will acquire skills in observing children, pedagogical interaction, and conducting certain types of educational activities.

Students were also informed in detail about the content of the practice and the list of tasks posted on the Moodle educational platform (E-Learning KDU), as well as the requirements for preparing the reporting documentation. The practice supervisors answered students’ questions and provided methodological recommendations on organizing observations and maintaining pedagogical records. In addition, the importance of the practice as a key stage in the professional development of a future teacher was emphasized.

At the end of the conference, students were given recommendations and wishes for successful and productive work in early education institutions.
