Graduating students of the Department of Economics are currently undertaking their internship practice at enterprises in the region.

The internship involves students enrolled in the study programmes “Business and Administration” (full-time and part-time) and “Hospitality Services, Tourism and Leisure.”

The internship is aimed at strengthening theoretical knowledge and developing practical skills in real organizational settings. During this period, students collect materials for their final thesis and gain hands-on experience in solving practical tasks.

The internship is carried out under the supervision of leading specialists from host enterprises, enabling students to acquire up-to-date professional knowledge and skills in line with current labour market requirements.

The internship bases include leading enterprises of the region and the Republic of Moldova, such as: SRL “Vitapharm-Com”, SA “Iugintertrans”, SRL “Basarabia-Lwin Invest”, SA “Vinuri de Comrat”, SC “TOMAI-VINEX”, SRL “FinComBank”, SRL “DMI – LUX”, SRL “Pensan – Prim”, SRL “Migdal Travel”, SRL “Granit - Grand Lux”, “LV & CO TUR”, SRL “Moroi”, as well as relevant public institutions.

In addition, part-time graduating students from the Republic of Azerbaijan are undertaking their internship practice at enterprises in the city of Baku — “RR TEHNIC” and “ASC Co”.

The internship process is monitored by the internship coordinator from Comrat State University — Liudmila Topal, as well as by academic supervisors who regularly oversee students’ progress and provide consultations.

Upon completion of the internship, students prepare reports which are submitted and defended at the relevant department.

Practical training contributes to the development of competitive graduates who are in demand on the labour market.
