
On March 25, 2026, Svetlana Curaxina, PhD, Associate Professor at the Department of Economics, participated as a jury member in the "Best College Business Idea 2026" competition, held at the Mihail Cakir College in Comrat. The event was organized by O.A. Akulova.
Students from the 3rd and 4th years took part in the competition, and 11 of the best projects reached the final. The main goal of the event was to support entrepreneurial initiatives among young people and to select promising ideas for participation in higher-level competitions.
Participants presented their projects, demonstrated their products, and received useful recommendations for development, as well as constructive feedback from the jury. It was noted that the most promising ideas would have the opportunity to participate in the Comrat State University business ideas competition.

At the end of the competition, all participants received certificates, and the winners received diplomas and prizes. The event also provided an excellent opportunity to introduce students to educational programs and study opportunities at Comrat State University.
The jury highly appreciated the level of the presented projects. Special interest was shown in ideas related to carpet production, biodegradable tableware from bran, opening a veterinary clinic, a dog grooming salon, tourist glamping, and SMM services.
