Regarding the progress of introductory internship for 1st-cycle full-time students majoring in "Business and Management" and "Marketing and Logistics".

From May 18 to May 24, 2026, an introductory internship was organized for students majoring in “Business and Management” and “Marketing and Logistics.” The internship supervisor from the Department of Economics was Doctor and lecturer L.N. Arikova.
The internship was conducted in accordance with the curriculum and academic schedule during the fourth semester of full-time studies. This type of internship represents the first stage of practical training for students, providing them with the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in real business environments, become familiar with workplace conditions, and study the fundamentals of business organization, management, and marketing activities.

As part of the internship, students visited three enterprises — SA “IUGINTERTRANS,” SA “FinComBank,” and “Ghekatex Group” SRL.

During the visit to SA “IUGINTERTRANS” (Comrat), students had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the complete technological process of bakery production. They observed all stages of production: from flour delivery and dough preparation to baking, slicing, and packaging of finished products. Enterprise manager S.S. Kamilchu explained the quality control system at every stage of production, demonstrated modern packaging equipment that ensures product freshness, and introduced students to inventory management, logistics, and product distribution to retail outlets.

During the visit to “Ghekatex Group” SRL, students became acquainted with the specifics of the production process and the organization of a modern enterprise. During the tour, company director V.V. Arabadji presented the main stages of garment production — from receiving and preparing raw materials to manufacturing, quality control, and packaging of finished products. Company representatives also explained the technologies, modern equipment, and standards that ensure the high quality of textile products.

Special attention was paid to the organization of the production process, personnel management, logistics, and cooperation with suppliers and clients. Students also learned about quality control measures at every stage of production and the role of innovative technologies in improving enterprise efficiency.

The visits to the enterprises became not only an educational but also a motivating experience for the students, allowing them to observe the practical application of theoretical knowledge in real production conditions.

The students also visited FinComBank — one of the leading financial institutions in the Republic of Moldova, providing a wide range of banking services for individuals, entrepreneurs, and corporate clients.

During the visit, bank representatives introduced students to the main areas of the institution’s activities, with particular attention to marketing strategy and customer communication. Students learned how the bank analyzes the needs of different categories of clients, develops new financial products, and creates competitive advantages in the banking services market.

Director of the bank branch V.N. Tsvyatkov spoke about the use of modern marketing tools, digital technologies, and online platforms for promoting banking products and improving customer service. Students showed particular interest in brand management, customer loyalty, the use of social media, and digital marketing for attracting new users of banking services.

In addition, students were introduced to methods of financial market research, approaches to customer segmentation, and the specifics of organizing advertising campaigns in the banking sector. They also became familiar with the work of the marketing department and the interaction between different divisions of the bank in promoting services and maintaining a positive corporate image.

The visit to FinComBank enabled students to better understand the specifics of marketing activities in the financial sector and to see how theoretical knowledge in business, management, and marketing is applied in the practical work of a modern bank.

The Department of Economics expresses sincere gratitude to the manager of SA “IUGINTERTRANS” S.S. Kamilchu, the director of “Ghekatex Group” SRL V.V. Arabadji, and the director of the Comrat branch of SA “FinComBank” V.N. Tsvyatkov for their assistance in organizing and conducting the introductory internship, as well as for their contribution to supporting the educational process. Thanks to their professionalism and openness, students acquired valuable practical skills and knowledge necessary for their future professional careers.
