On September 2, 2026, a meeting was held at Comrat State University between CSU Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serghei Zaharia, and Mehmet Zengen, a PhD student at Necmettin Erbakan University (Türkiye).
Mehmet Zengen arrived at Comrat State University within the framework of the Erasmus+ Student Mobility for Traineeships programme. His academic mobility period will run from September 1 to October 31, 2026.
During this period, the PhD student will carry out research and/or training activities in cooperation with the relevant host department at CSU.
During the meeting, Rector Serghei Zaharia and Mehmet Zengen discussed the main areas of his upcoming activities, academic cooperation, and opportunities for further development of collaboration between Comrat State University and Necmettin Erbakan University.
Academic mobility within the Erasmus+ programme contributes to the development of international cooperation, the exchange of experience, and the strengthening of educational and scientific ties between universities.
