On August 30, 2026, an orientation briefing on the organization, content, and rules of the upcoming pedagogical practice was held for 4th-year students (group NDP-23) of the specialty 'Pedagogy of Primary Education. Preschool Pedagogy' at Comrat State University (CSU).
Pedagogical practice is the most important stage in the professional development of a future teacher. It is in primary school that the foundation for all subsequent learning activity is laid, and the child's personality, their attitude toward knowledge, social norms, and themselves takes shape. Early school age is a sensitive and vulnerable period of transition from play to learning, when the figure of the first teacher plays a key role. For students, this stage becomes the first serious test of their readiness to take responsibility for the emotional well-being, adaptation, and academic success of each child.
During the meeting, instructors explained in detail the goals, objectives, and structure of the upcoming practice, which consists of two key stages:
Stage 1: 'Child's First Days at School' — future teachers will undergo passive practice aimed at observing the adaptation process of first-graders to the school environment, studying the psychological and pedagogical characteristics of children, and conducting primary diagnostics of their readiness for systematic learning. This period is critically important, as it allows students to see how the classroom microclimate is established and how the teacher helps children overcome the 7-year crisis.
Stage 2: Active pedagogical practice — students will fully immerse themselves in the professional environment, taking on the role of primary school teachers. This stage will allow them to test modern teaching methods, conduct lessons and extracurricular activities, develop classroom management skills, and consolidate in practice the theoretical knowledge acquired within the university.
Special attention at the briefing was given to academic reporting: students received detailed explanations on filling in practice diaries, drafting calendar-thematic plans, and correctly preparing all final documents on the Moodle educational platform (E-Learning KDU).
