Following the completion of the introductory pedagogical practice of first-year students of group ZNDP–25, enrolled in the part-time form of study within the educational programme “Primary Education Pedagogy. Preschool Pedagogy”, a final conference was held on June 13.
The two-week introductory practice (60 hours, 2 ECTS credits) is an integral part of the training of future specialists in the field of primary education. Its main objective is to provide students with their first understanding of the teaching profession, the specific features of organizing the educational process at the primary education level, as well as to develop their interest in professional pedagogical activity.
The event became an important stage in the professional development of future teachers, providing students with the opportunity to demonstrate the results of their first practical observations, share their impressions, and reflect on the importance of teaching activities. In accordance with the practice curriculum and individual plans, students visited educational institutions, became familiar with the organization of the teaching and educational process, the work of primary school teachers, the specifics of interaction with younger pupils, and various forms and methods of working with students. They also conducted trial lessons.
Future teachers observed lessons, daily routines, the learning environment, and studied the role of teaching staff in creating a supportive and safe educational atmosphere.
During the conference, students presented presentations, creative reports, as well as photo and video materials reflecting the main stages of their pedagogical practice. Participants shared their first professional discoveries, challenges, and achievements, and discussed the importance of pedagogical culture, responsibility, and a humane approach to children.
Special attention was paid to contemporary education issues: creating an inclusive educational environment, developing children’s social and emotional skills, applying an individual approach, and understanding the teacher’s role in supporting every primary school pupil.
A pleasant surprise for all conference participants, within the framework of the “Students Survival Kit” project, was the support provided by the National Coordinator of INDIGO Group, Chisinau. The project aims to facilitate young people’s adaptation to student life by offering useful products, relevant information, and interaction with brands that can support students during their professional development.
The practice supervisor, M.A. Yanioglo, PhD, University Conference Lecturer, highlighted the students’ active participation, their commitment to professional development, and their understanding of the importance of the future teaching profession.
The conference became not only a final event but also a platform for professional communication, experience exchange, and the formation of pedagogical perspectives. Organizing such events strengthens the connection between theoretical training and practical activity, helps students realize the significance of their chosen profession, and take their first steps toward becoming competent, creative, and responsible primary school teachers.
The results of the introductory pedagogical practice demonstrated that the first professional experiences become an important foundation for further learning, the development of pedagogical competencies, and the formation of future educators.
