Modernised Information Centre Opens at Comrat State University with Support from the Republic of Poland

Comrat State University has completed the Information Centre modernisation project, “Sprijin pentru Universitatea de Stat din Comrat – modernizarea Centrului Tehnologiei Informaționale (Găgăuzia)”, implemented with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in the Republic of Moldova under the Polska Pomoc programme.

As a result of the project, the university now has a modern educational space equipped with 20 modern all-in-one computers and a 75-inch interactive board, providing additional opportunities for teaching, practical classes, training sessions, seminars and various educational events.

The modernised Information Centre will become an important part of CSU’s digital educational infrastructure. Students and teaching staff will use its facilities to work with modern information technologies, develop digital skills, prepare teaching and research materials, deliver presentations and practical classes, and implement new educational initiatives.

Creating a modern IT space is particularly important for students, as it allows them to combine theoretical knowledge with practical skills in using the digital tools needed for further professional development and successful integration into the modern labour market.

The opening of the centre is another important achievement of the long-standing cooperation between Comrat State University and its Polish partners. Support from the Republic of Poland contributes to the ongoing modernisation of CSU’s facilities and equipment and to creating better conditions for young people’s education and professional development.

Comrat State University expresses its sincere gratitude to the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in the Republic of Moldova, the Polska Pomoc programme and, personally, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland, Mr Tomasz Kobzdej, for their support, trust and contribution to the development of university education in the region.

We greatly value our long-standing partnership with the Republic of Poland and are confident that the new Information Centre will become a valued space for students, teaching staff and the entire university academic community, supporting the development of digital skills, innovation and CSU’s international cooperation.
