On February 10, 2023 German Ambassador in Republic of Moldova Mrs. Margaret UEBBER and French Ambassador in Republic of Moldova Mr. Graham PAUL visited the Comrat State University. The visit was part of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Elysée Treaty, which the ambassadors undertook to celebrate through meetings with the young people of Moldova. The ambassadors were welcomed by the Rector of the Comrat State University the Assoc. Prof., PhD, Serghei Zaharia, who presented Ambassadors with the University's international activities and University cooperation projects. The Ambassadors then exchanged views with students from the Faculty of National Culture, Faculty of Economics of the Comrat State University. The discussion focused the exceptional on the nature of Franco-German cooperation and its role as the "engine" of the European construction. During the meeting, the participants learned important details about the historical context that marked the founding of the European Union, the contribution of the founding countries and the specifics of Franco-German cooperation in economic, social, political and cultural terms, valid even today. In the same time, the students asked the guests questions about the diplomatic career, the opportunities to continue their studies in France and Germany and the prerequisites for our country to integrate the EU community. At the end of the meeting, Vice-Rector for Science Research  and International Relation of the Comrat State University Assoc. Prof., PhD, Sophia Sulak presented letters of the thanks to the guests of the honor. The Ambassadors also congratulated the students and Professors on the anniversary of the Comrat State University
