On April 25-26, 2024, the XVII International Scientific and Practical Conference “Conditions of Economic Growth in Countries with a Market Economy” was held on the basis of the State Educational Institution “Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky State Pedagogical University named after Grigory Skovoroda”, in which about 100 leading economists and scientists from Latvia and Poland took part, Moldova, Bulgaria, Ukraine.

The organizers of the conference were the Faculty of Finance and Humanities of the State Educational Institution “Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky State Pedagogical University Grigory Skovoroda", Ukrainian Association of Political Economy, State Institution "Institute of Economics and Forecasting of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine", University of National and World Economy (Sofia, Bulgaria), Comrat State University (Comrat, Moldova), Nicolaus Copernicus University (Torun, Poland) and others institutions.

The participants were congratulated by the Rector of the University, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Viktor Kotsur, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Vice-Rector for educational and methodological work Vyacheslav Reznik, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Humanities Svetlana Kucherenko.

At the Plenary session, reports were made on current issues of economic growth conditions in European countries. Alla Levitskaia, professor of the Department of Economics at KCU, Doctor (Habilitation), gave a report in English “Management of R&D activities: rethinking Universities strategies” at the Plenary session of the conference.

During the conference, economists shared their experiences, discussed the most pressing current challenges of economic growth, and expressed their opinions on further ways to implement the actions they proposed. The reports of the conference participants will be published in the collection of scientific works of scientists and graduate students “Economic Bulletin of the University” (category B).
