The group of 53 teachers, masters, students from ATU Gagauzia, Dubasari, Taraclia, Cahul and Balti mun. will go to Romania for a summer course in the study of Romanian language, literature and civilization at the University of Iasi "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" from July 17 to 31, 2024. The courses are organized on the initiative of the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, the Ministry of Education of Romania, with the support of the Romanian Embassy in the Republic of Moldova. Earlier, the first set of cadets from Moldova attended the summer school in Romania. The President of the Republic of Moldova Mrs. Maia Sandu said at the meeting with the cadets: "This is how the Romanian language builds bridges between countries, people in society, and I am convinced that this social link will increase national cohesion and unite people." "We are happy that there are more and more people willing to learn Romanian, and not only those who teach the subject in schools. The figures show that the number of people interested in learning Romanian is growing in our country. We have approved the concept of multilingual education, which facilitates bilingual education in schools, and this transition process will be a long one. By 2025, we want to define an additional pay mechanism for teachers to prioritize the teaching of subjects, lessons in Romanian language. The state offers support to everyone who wants to learn Romanian language," said Education and Research Minister of Republic of Moldova  D-l Dan Perciun during a meeting with the cadets of the second stage of the summer school. From Comrat State University, the team of the second stage of the summer school will include 4 teachers of the Economics, Law and National Culture faculties, as well as 1 master and 4 students of specialties related to the teaching of Romanian language and literature. The administration of Comrat State University wishes the participants of the summer school fruitful training and new qualitative knowledge in the field of Romanian language, literature and history, as well as thanks all supporting and assisting parties in the implementation of this program and providing a unique opportunity to improve the level of language knowledge of our teachers and students in a practical language environment.
