The NATO Office in the Republic of Moldova invites university students in the country to take part in an essay competition in English and French on the topic: “How does NATO-Moldova cooperation contribute to the security of your country and its European future?”. The competition will be organized by the NATO Liaison Office in the Republic of Moldova to mark the 75th anniversary of NATO and the 30th anniversary of NATO’s partnership with the Republic of Moldova. The aim of the competition is to raise awareness and enhance understanding of the Alliance, its mission, core values, and principles
Main requirements for the essay:
1. The essay must be written in English or French;
2. The essay should be between 2,000 and 2,500 words;
3. The format should be Word, Times New Roman, size 12;
4. The essay must be original and entirely created by the author. Quotes are allowed but should not exceed 20% of the total text and must be correctly formatted as footnotes;
5. The use of artificial intelligence (AI) is strictly prohibited and will be thoroughly checked;
6. The title page of the essay must include the following information:
- Author’s first and last name;
- Date of birth;
- University, faculty, and year of study
7. The document should be saved under the title: “essay_name_surname”. Example: “essay_John_Smith”
The competition will run from September 2, 2024, to September 15, 2024. The results will be announced on November 4, 2024, via:
