On August 25, 2025, at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Moldova, H.E. Mrs. Maia SANDU, the administration and faculty of Comrat State University attended the official reception at the Palace of the Republic, organized to mark the anniversary of the proclamation of Moldova’s independence, together with fellow mayors, representatives of the diplomatic corps, Parliament, and Government. In her speech, President Maia Sandu emphasized: “Independence is not only the past but also our daily responsibility to build a country that thrives thanks to the courage and dignity of its people.” The event was opened with a musical performance by composer Eugen DOGI — music that unites us and reminds us that our national identity is expressed not only through words, but also through art, emotion, and feeling. The administration and faculty of Comrat State University expressed their gratitude for the invitation and highlighted the importance of such gatherings, which strengthen the sense of national belonging and inspire further contributions to the development of culture and education in the country.
