From August 20 to 22, 2025, the Rector of Comrat State University (CSU), Assoc. Prof. PhD Serghei Zaharia, together with colleagues from the Technical University of Moldova, participated in the International Conference on the Cooperation and Integration of Industry, Education, Research and Innovation, organized by Inner Mongolia Agricultural University (IMAU) in Hohhot, China. The conference brought together about 180 participants from different countries of the world – representatives of universities, research centers, educational organizations, and business. The forum addressed current trends and prospects for the development of international cooperation in education, science, innovation, and integration with industry. Rector of CSU, Assoc. Prof. PhD Serghei Zaharia underlined the importance of joint projects in the field of education, science, and innovation. During the meetings and discussions, prospects for cooperation between CSU and universities and research centers in China were explored, including opportunities for joint research projects, exchange of experience in innovations and technologies, and the expansion of the university’s partnership network in Asia. In addition, the participants of the conference visited cultural and scientific sites of Hohhot (China), including the Inner Mongolia Museum and the production facilities of Mengniu Dairy, one of China’s leading companies. These visits offered a deeper understanding of the region’s cultural heritage and modern achievements in the agro-industrial sector. A return visit of colleagues from IMAU (Hohhot, China) to partner universities in the Republic of Moldova is expected in autumn 2025. The participation of CSU’s Rector in such a representative international forum has become an important step in strengthening the university’s position on the global educational and scientific stage, opening new prospects for the development of global cooperation and enhancing internationalization – a strategic direction of CSU’s development.
