The Rector of Comrat State University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serghei Zaharia, together with the Rector of Suleyman Demirel University (Republic of Türkiye), Prof. Dr. Mehmet Saltan, and the Chief Coordinator for International Relations, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Kubilay Türkay, visited Moldova State University.
During the visit, meetings were held with the leadership of the country’s leading universities – Moldova State University, Technical University of Moldova, Ion Creangă State Pedagogical University, and Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy. The discussions focused on expanding international cooperation in the fields of education, science, and academic mobility, as well as on the prospects of participating in joint research projects.
As a result of the meeting, cooperation agreements were signed between Suleyman Demirel University and several higher education institutions of the Republic of Moldova, opening new opportunities for academic exchange, implementation of joint educational initiatives, and strengthening Moldovan–Turkish academic relations.
