Comrat State University was honored to host an official visit from the Rector of Suleyman Demirel University (Republic of Türkiye), Prof. Dr. Mehmet Saltan, and the General Coordinator for International Relations, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Kubilay Türkay.
During the visit, an official meeting was held with the Rector of CSU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serghei Zaharia, representatives of the administration, faculty members, and students. The parties discussed prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in education, science, and academic mobility. The key event of the visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Comrat State University and Suleyman Demirel University, opening new opportunities for implementing joint educational programs, student and staff exchanges, and participation in Erasmus+ international projects. During the meeting, both rectors emphasized the importance of strengthening friendly relations between Moldova and Türkiye and highlighted the significance of academic cooperation as a foundation for mutual understanding and cultural exchange.
The Rector of CSU expressed gratitude to the guests for their visit, noting that the signing of the agreement marks another step in developing international partnerships aimed at improving the quality of education and expanding opportunities for students and faculty of both universities.
