On November 6, 2025, Comrat State University was visited by Mr. Søren Jensen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to the Republic of Moldova, accompanied by Counsellor Alexander Khriptun and Intern Joakim Branner. During the meeting, the Rector of CSU, Assoc., prof. PhD Serghei Zaharia, and the Danish delegation discussed prospects for cooperation in the fields of education, culture, and academic exchanges. Both parties expressed mutual interest in establishing partnerships between Comrat State University and Danish universities, as well as implementing joint projects aimed at supporting youth and developing civil society. Rector Serghei Zaharia emphasized that CSU is open to international cooperation, noting that such initiatives contribute not only to the exchange of experience but also to the formation of a new generation of students — active, responsible, and oriented toward European values. Special attention during the meeting was devoted to intercultural dialogue and the promotion of various national cultures. In the near future, the university plans to open Bulgarian and Azerbaijani Cultural Centers, where students will have the opportunity to learn about the history, traditions, and languages of these countries. Ambassador Søren Jensen highly appreciated Comrat State University’s openness to cooperation and noted that collaboration between the universities of Moldova and Denmark opens up wide opportunities for students, professors, and researchers of both countries. At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed confidence that the partnership between CSU, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark, and European universities will contribute to the development of academic potential, the strengthening of cultural ties, and the promotion of joint educational initiatives.
