On November 6, 2025, a concert titled “Türk Müziği Konseri” took place in the assembly hall of Comrat State University, organized in collaboration with Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University (Turkey). The musical program featured Professors Dr. Resul Bağı and Dr. Timur Vural — representatives of the Niğde Conservatory. Professor Timur Vural performed piano pieces, showcasing remarkable professionalism and deep musical interpretation. Professor Resul Bağı presented traditional Turkish folk songs, accompanying himself on the bağlama — one of the most ancient symbols of Turkish musical culture.
The concert program included:
- Haydar haydar
- Ayirilik
- Candan ileri (Black Sea region)
- Güldaniye (Thrace region)
At the end of the concert, Professor Resul Bağı invited Comrat State University professors — Irina Poidolova, Olga Terzi, Domna Mavrodi, and Natalia Iovciu — to join him on stage to perform the Gagauz song “Mavi çiçek”, which became a symbol of friendship between the two peoples. The concert was a vivid example of cultural dialogue and exchange of experience in music education. During the visit, the guests and faculty members discussed performance techniques, pedagogical approaches, and prospects for further cooperation between CSU and Niğde University. Rector of Comrat State University, Assoc., prof. PhD Serghei Zaharia, emphasized the importance of such initiatives, which promote international relations, enrich the educational process, and strengthen friendship between Moldova, Gagauzia, and Turkey.
