On November 11, 2025, Comrat State University held a meeting with students of the Preparatory Department who arrived from Azerbaijan to study the Russian language. The purpose of their studies is to master Russian as a means of academic and intercultural communication, as well as to prepare for further education at the university. At the beginning of the event, the Rector of Comrat State University, Assoc., prof. PhD Serghei Zaharia, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech, emphasizing that CSU is always open to international students and provides favorable conditions for their adaptation and academic success. The Rector expressed confidence that studying at CSU will become not only a step toward professional growth but also an opportunity to discover the rich culture and traditions of the region. The meeting was attended by teachers of the Preparatory Department and representatives of the International Relations Office, who informed students about the university’s educational programs, cultural life, and opportunities to participate in international projects. The Azerbaijani students expressed their gratitude for the warm welcome and noted the high level of organization of the educational process and support provided by the teachers. The event took place in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding, becoming another step in strengthening cooperation between Comrat State University and Azerbaijani partners.
