
On November 20, 2025, a Round Table on human rights in the context of Moldova’s integration into the EU was held at the European Centre of Comrat State University, organized by the Territorial Information Bureau of Parliament (TIBP).
The presentation “European Integration of the Republic of Moldova” was delivered by Svetlana REGUȘ, senior consultant of the TIBP. From her speech, the students learned interesting facts related to the history of the European Parliament, the European Court, the signing of the EU–RM Association Agreement, Moldova’s obtaining of EU candidate status, and the conditions and reforms that our country must fulfill.
The People’s Advocate, Doctor of Political Sciences, and Associate Professor of the Public Law Department, Svetlana MIRONOVA, told the students about the advantages that open up with Moldova’s accession to the European Union, as well as what efforts students must make to be competitive in the international labor market.
During the discussion, students asked questions, expressed their opinions on the economic and political situation in the Republic of Moldova and in the European Union.
The event was attended by students of the Faculty of Law, groups JU-25 and JPU-25, students of the M. Çakir College, group 4522, as well as university and college lecturers.
Such meetings contribute to the development of critical thinking, the increase of awareness regarding integration processes of Moldova and other states into the European Union, the formation of civic position, and the cultivation of patriotism among young people.
