On 5 December 2025, the final conference of the INSPIRE Leadership Network 2025 project — a major inter-university educational initiative aimed at developing leadership competencies, social cohesion, intercultural dialogue, and supporting youth initiatives — was held at Digital Park (Chișinău).
The Rector of Comrat State University, Zaharia Serghei , Assoc., prof., PhD took part in the event. He emphasized the importance of inter-university cooperation, innovative education, and the engagement of young people in sustainable development and peacebuilding processes.
The INSPIRE Leadership Academy 2025 project was implemented throughout the year and brought together 315 students from 8 cities, representing 5 universities and 6 NGO partners. The educational program included three specialized schools, one of which — “Tech Peacemakers: Digital Solutions for Social Cohesion” — was held in Comrat.
During the conference, student projects, mini-initiatives, analytical materials, and research results were presented. In total, 35 academic papers were prepared within the project, published in two academic journals and a final compendium.
INSPIRE Leadership Academy 2025 was distinguished by its practice-oriented approach and included business simulations, strategic games, trainings, as well as visits to leading innovation hubs of the country and international organizations, including the OSCE and UN structures.
The final conference became a platform for dialogue between the academic community, youth, and international partners, as well as for discussing the prospects of expanding the INSPIRE Network (Inter-University Network for Sustainable Peace, Innovation, Research, and Education), founded in 2023.
The project was implemented with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the Republic of Moldova.
