On behalf of the entire U.S. Department of State, it is my privilege to connect with you – one of our incredible International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) alumni. I’m sure you have many fond memories of your IVLP experience, so I wanted to make sure you are aware that this coming year we will be celebrating IVLP’s 80th anniversary. Our yearlong campaign will highlight the program’s long-term impact – 80 years connecting emerging leaders (you!) with counterparts in the United States.
I have four small requests for you as an IVLP alumna/alumnus:
Reconnect with the U.S. Embassy or Consulate and continue your efforts to build bridges with the United States. If you have lost contact, you can search online for your local embassy or consulate and then search for Education and Culture/Local Programs/Alumni to reach the alumni coordinator or email Această adresă de email este protejată contra spambots. Reconnect with someone you met in the United States. Perhaps a home hospitality host or a speaker who impressed you during a meeting. Share with them how the connection has provided a benefit to you and your home community.
Take 10 minutes and complete this survey to help us show the world the impact of professional exchanges. You can find the survey at: http://exchangesimpact.com/IVLP80th
Follow our social media accounts over the course of the campaign (January-December 2020). Be sure to post about the impact resulting from your #ExchangeAlumni, #FacesofExchange and #IVLP experiences (and tag us so we can follow your achievements!)
