Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey TUBITAK has planned to organize an online "TUBITAK Earthquake Research Virtual Conference" in order to increase the awareness and responsibility of the society regarding scientific and technological solutions to combat earthquakes.
The Virtual Conference will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2023 between 10:00 - 18:00.
The opening speeches of the conference will be delivered by Fuat Oktay, Vice President of the Republic of Turkey; Mustafa Varank, Minister of Industry and Technology; Murat Kurum, Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change (at their discretion); Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal, President of TÜBİTAK; and Yunus Sezer, President of AFAD.
At the conference, project presentations will be held by the executives of the projects supported within the scope of TÜBİTAK Earthquake Research Calls.
All academicians and students are invited to the virtual conference.
