On November 11 , 2021 CSU’s Rector, https://kdu.md/ Serghei Zaharia, Ph.D. Associate Professor, met with Dr. Cengiz GÜZELOLUK and Dr. Kayhan INAN, the representatives of T.C. Kişinev Büyükelçiliği Eğitim Müşavirliği https://www.facebook.com/KisinevEgitiM/ , as well as with a member of academic staff of the University, Doç. Dr. Kürsat Şamil ŞAHİN Doctor of Philology, who currently works in the Department of Turkology of the Comrat State University.
During the meeting, Mr. Rector and Dr. Cengiz GÜZELOLUK spoke about the international activities of the Comrat State University and cooperation with the Universities of the Republic of Turkey aimed at improving the status of the University in the higher education system in Moldova and further integration into the world educational and scientific community. This work is carried out within the framework of cooperation programs with leading Turkish Universities, the implementation of joint educational programs and projects, the fulfillment of joint research activities, the organization of scientific and practical seminars and conferences, the exchange of academic staff and the development of student mobility, internships, admission and training in doctoral studies in Turkey, the possibility of distance learning and obtaining the status of double degrees.
As a result of systematic work to further cooperations between higher educational institutions of the Republic of Turkey and CSU, an increase in the contingent of students from Turkey in various specialties is expected, too. Such partnerships are seen as a key element in the development of scientific collaboration and a significant moment to strengthen their position as an attractive location for learning and research. Thanks to the cooperation of Universities and the joint training of specialists in various fields, it will undoubtedly make a significant contribution to the formation of stable partnerships in all spheres of life of our Autonomy.
Within the framework of the meeting, they also discussed the organization of participation and training in summer schools in Turkey, which provide a unique opportunity to combine the study of the Turkish language and academic disciplines with rest abroad. Meeting peers, communicating with them and teachers is a real chance to plunge headlong into the culture and traditions of the Republic of Turkey, as well as significantly improve the knowledge of the Turkish language, history and culture of these people.
Particular attention during the conversation was paid to the study of opportunities to help repair the hostel and the sports complex of CSU with the assistance of the Republic of Turkey.
International cooperation is an integral part of the activities of the Comrat State University and an important tool in ensuring the quality of education and its compliance with international standards.
