DUAL EDUCATION

On November 11, 2021 the representatives of the administration of Comrat State University https://kdu.md/ , Serghei Zaharia, Rector of CSU, Ph.D. Associate Professor, Gheorghe Sult, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of CSU, PH.D. Associate Professor, Raisa Covricov, the Head of the Department of Quality Management and Educational Process, Ph.D. Associate Professor, Serghei Cara, the Head of the Department "Technology of Production and Processing of Agricultural Products”, Ph.D. Associate Professor, together with the representatives of the academic staff: Iulia Neicovcena, Ph.D. Associate Professor , and Olga Cosheleva, Master of Agricultural Sciences Sciences, University Lecturer’s Assistant, held a meeting with Constantin Sibov, the Head of SC “Tomai - Vinex” SA http://tomai-vinex.moldagro.md/sell/all/1721-ro:vinuri-de-colec-ie , honorary Consul of Republic of Belarus in Moldova,  and also with the  students of the II course, gr. AIM-20 KSU, Victor Chirsanov and Sviatoslav Raigorodski.

Within the framework of the meeting, Serghei Zaharia and Constantin Sibov discussed the introduction of a dual training system for CSU’s students who simultaneously work at the enterprises of Gagauzia. Such a system presupposes the acquisition of knowledge of both a general educational nature and an applied nature. To organize dual education, a specific employer or economic agent enters into a partnership agreement with the educational institution in which the students study. The dual educational program allows the students to receive practical, structured training directly at the enterprise, and they master the theory within the walls of an educational institution.

The head of SC "Tomai - Vinex" SA noted that this is a good opportunity for young people to build their future at home, to enlarge a specific profession, and not to go abroad for this.

The University administration approved the initiative of C. Sibov, his appeal to representatives of the faculty and department to create conditions and an individual work plan for students. Dual training is a type of studying in which the theoretical part of the training takes place on the basis of an educational institution, and the practical part at a specific enterprise.

Thus, it was decided:

• to approve the Regulation on creating conditions for dual education and approve at a meeting of the University Senate;
• to make a cooperation agreement with economic agents;
• to create a memorandum on dual education;

Supporting the idea of ​​creating a system of dual education at the university is a consequence of the needs of the economic agents of Gagauzia, which need well-trained personnel that meet the requirements of the modern national economy.

During their studies, students have the opportunity to gain experience in many areas of production according to dual education. Thanks to this, by the end of the training, they already know exactly which department they are most interested in and where exactly they want to work after completing their education. This is a huge advantage over those students who often find it difficult to decide on their future specialization.

At the end of the meeting, C. Sibov noted that this system is suitable, first of all, for students with a very high degree of purposefulness, organization and flexibility and requires a lot of endurance and motivation throughout the training. Only after passing this difficult path can they count on decent wages and excellent career development.
