On April 29, 2022, an agreement was signed between the Comrat State University https://kdu.md/ (Republic of Moldova, Comrat), represented by Rector Serghei Zaharia and the educational institution "Mogilev State Regional Institute for the Development of Education" http://mogilev-region.edu.by/ represented by Rector Mihail Judro.
The purpose of the agreement is:
- Implementation of cooperation, expressing the desire to strengthen friendly interethnic relations and develop integration processes in the field of education between the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Belarus;
- Interaction and mutual enrichment of national systems of education and culture;
- Coordination the activities of teams of institutions in the field of methodological substantiation and development of scientific foundations for the functioning of the advanced training system that ensures regional development;
- Determination of scientific and practice-oriented priorities and areas of functioning of regional systems of postgraduate education;
- Creation of scientific schools/institutions for research and resolution of problems of support and development of education, a system for improving the qualifications of educational personnel;
- Organization of joint development of a wide range of various educational and socio-cultural programs and projects, including the attraction of grants.
The institutions plan to involve specialists from both parts that have signed this agreement, as well as other educational institutions, organizations, creative associations, unions to participate in the formation and implementation of priority scientific and practice-oriented educational programs and projects.
If necessary, the agreement can be supplemented with new specific proposals arising from the changing socio-cultural conditions and the development of the educational process in the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Belarus.
