On October 15-16, 2024, within the framework of the partnership between OSTIM Technical University (Ankara) and Near East University (Northern Cyprus), the International Conference "SMART Economic Planning and Industrial Policy (SEPIP) 2024" took place. The conference has been held annually since 2014 and brings together experts from around the world to discuss current issues in the field of economics and industrial policy. This year, Vitali Chiurcciu, Assistant Professor at the Department of Accounting and Finance of Comrat State University (CSU), was invited as a guest speaker. At the plenary session, he presented a report titled "Industrial Policy of the Republic of Moldova: A Stage of Rethinking," in which he highlighted the key aspects and challenges faced by Moldova's industrial sector in the current conditions. The participation of CSU’s representative in the SEPIP 2024 conference is an important step in the development of international cooperation and the exchange of scientific knowledge, contributing to strengthening the university's status on the international academic stage.
