On November 5, 2024, the Comrat State University (CSU) held its Donor Day, organized with the aim of promoting voluntary and unpaid blood donation. The event gathered 18 participants, including 9 students and 9 staff members of CSU, who demonstrated social responsibility and readiness to help those in need of donated blood. Blood and its components were collected by staff from the National Blood Transfusion Center of the municipality of Cahul. During the event, 8 people donated plasma, and 8 donated blood, thus making an important contribution to providing medical institutions with the necessary blood components to save lives. This day became a significant example of socially responsible behavior toward society's needs and the importance of blood donation as an act of charity. CSU always supports initiatives aimed at improving health and developing humanitarian values among students and staff, and this Donor Day was no exception. The event organizers expressed their gratitude to all participants for their active involvement and care for the well-being of others. In the future, Comrat State University intends to continue organizing similar actions aimed at supporting health and developing a culture of blood donation in the Republic of Moldova.
