The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) in collaboration with the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Moldova (AFAM) is launching a new initiative aimed at supporting economic empowerment and self-sufficiency among individuals affected by conflict and displacement. This program is intended for refugees from Ukraine, citizens of third countries, and vulnerable local residents in the southern region of Moldova, including Chisinau. The goal of the program is to assist in starting and developing businesses that generate income. Participants will receive business grants and individual training to support their successful entrepreneurial activities.
The program includes:
- Entrepreneurial training
- Soft skills training
- Financial literacy
- English/Romanian language courses (if needed)
- Childcare support
- Transportation support
- Business grants (for 35 participants)
- Mentorship and consultations
