On March 3, 2025, Comrat State University hosted a roundtable discussion on the topic "175 Years of Poetry, Thought, and Light of Eminescu", an event dedicated to honoring the literary and cultural legacy of the national poet Mihai Eminescu.
The event began with opening remarks from:
- Oxana Mititelu, organizer, Assoc. Prof., PhD, faculty of Gagauz Philology;
- Oxana Kurteva, Assoc. Prof., PhD, Dean of the Faculty of National Culture;
- Galina Mutaf, Doctor of Pedagogy, lecturer, Head of the Department of Gagauz Philology.
Participants had the opportunity to listen to and discuss works dedicated to the poetry and personality of Mihai Eminescu, presented by students under the guidance of their professors. A particularly touching moment of the event was the poetry evening, where students recited Eminescu's verses. The program was enriched by musical performances inspired by Eminescu's poetic texts. The roundtable concluded with reflections on the presented reports, impressions shared by participants, and expressions of gratitude to the organizers, professors, and students who took part in the event. This gathering provided a valuable opportunity to deepen knowledge about Mihai Eminescu, creating a foundation for academic and artistic discussions among both students and faculty members.
