On March 24, 2025, the Rector of Comrat State University, Doctor, University Conference Lecturer Serghei Zaharia, and the Director of the Association for the Development of the Bulgarian Community in Moldova Borimecikov A., signed a cooperation agreement. This agreement opens up opportunities for joint work in a number of key areas such as education, culture, scientific research, as well as in the field of social and cultural integration of the Bulgarian community in Moldova. Special attention will be given to the implementation of joint projects, the exchange of experience, and the organization of educational and cultural events aimed at preserving and developing the Bulgarian cultural identity. The cooperation between Comrat State University and Director of the Association for the Development of the Bulgarian Community will strengthen ties between scientific and cultural institutions and contribute to more active participation of the Bulgarian community in the public life of the country. This agreement is an important step in expanding cooperation between higher education institutions and civic organizations aimed at the development of the ATU Gagauzia region and the entire country.
