PARTICIPATION IN AN INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR WITHIN THE HORISON PROJECT

From April 7 to 11, 2025, representatives of Comrat State University — Dr. Tatiana Rakovcena (Associate Professor), Dr. Habil. Alla  Levitskaia (Professor), and Dr. Nadejda Ianioglo (Associate Professor) — participated in an international seminar and working meeting organized within the HORISON project, funded by the Swedish Institute under the SI Baltic Sea Neighbourhood Programme. The event was held in a hybrid format — both at Linköping University (Sweden) and online.

  • Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (Poland)

The first day of the working meeting focused on the topic: “Research & Innovation (R&I) and Smart Specialisation Strategy (S3)”. Key aspects of implementing research and innovation strategies (R&I) and smart specialisation (S3) in Eastern Sweden and Poland were discussed.

Dr. Habil. Alla Levitskaia presented the research report: “Assessment of R&I and S3 Needs: Summary of Key Findings in Moldova”.

The second day was dedicated to Building knowledge and competence, train-the-trainers’ session: Research Integrity and Open Science

Participants were introduced to the fundamentals of the Open Science concept, data management, and adherence to research ethics. A significant part of the meeting focused on the current practices of open science in Armenia and Moldova.

Dr. Nadejda Ianioglo delivered a presentation titled: “Open Science: Implementation and Development in Moldova”.

On April 10, a training session was held, aimed at developing competencies in innovation management, intellectual property, and commercialization. Special attention was given to the practical experience of Moldova and Armenia, as well as successful cases from Linköping University.

Dr. Habil. Alla Levitskaia presented the course “Innovation Systems” (2nd cycle, Business Administration specialization).
Dr. Nadejda Ianioglo presented the course “Innovation Management” (1st cycle, Business and Management specialization).

The working meeting marked an important step toward achieving the objectives of the HORISON project — strengthening scientific capacity, fostering innovation, and promoting cross-border cooperation. Discussions on key topics and exchange of experience contributed to enhancing partnerships and advancing shared development strategies.
