Dear students, doctoral candidates, and young researchers of Comrat State University , The Forum of Young Diplomats, the Student Scientific Circle of International Relations of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, the Student Parliament of Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, as well as the Student and Cadet Self-Government of the National Academy of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, have the honour to invite you to participate in the International Scientific Conference on the topic: “Security and Cooperation in Europe”, which will be held online on June 2, 2025 (Monday) from 10:00 to 17:00 (Central European Summer Time – CEST) on the Microsoft Teams platform. The aim of the conference is to analyze current threats and challenges to European security, to develop international scientific cooperation, and to exchange experiences in the field of crisis management mechanisms and conflict prevention. Participation is free of charge for both speakers and passive participants. To give a presentation, please submit an abstract (200–300 words) by May 23, 2025, 23:59 (CEST). Selected abstracts will be announced shortly after the deadline.

All active participants will receive certificates of participation. Each speaker will be allocated 10 minutes to present in English (preferred), Polish or Ukrainian.

• The role of international organizations and alliances in crisis management and conflict prevention;
• Legal frameworks and institutions for the protection of human rights and humanitarian law;
• Hybrid threats, information warfare, and cybersecurity;
• Border security and migration in the context of international stability;
• Energy security and protection of critical infrastructure;
• The future of cooperation in European security.
Original topics and interdisciplinary approaches relevant to the main theme of the conference are also welcome.
