Applications are now open for the Stefan Banach NAWA Scholarship Programme 2025 (Poland), organized by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.
Programme objective:
To support the socio-economic development of developing countries by offering free Master's (second-cycle) studies in Poland, in either Polish or English.
Eligible applicants:
Citizens of Moldova who:
- do not hold Polish citizenship;
- have completed a Bachelor's degree (not earlier than 2023) or are in their final year of studies;
- do not hold a Master’s degree;
- have knowledge of Polish (minimum A2/B2) or English (minimum B2);
- have not previously received a NAWA scholarship under this programme.
Study options:
- In Polish:
- one-year preparatory course + Master’s studies, or
- direct admission to Master’s studies in Polish
- In English:
- Master’s studies in English + Polish language and culture course
The scholarship covers:
- monthly stipend: PLN 2,500
- exemption from tuition fees at public universities
- one-time travel allowance: PLN 2,500
- additional financial support in exceptional cases: up to PLN 500
Application deadline:
By 27 June 2025, 3:00 PM (Warsaw time) or until the limit of 300 applications per country is reached.

- confirmation of application to a Polish university
- language proficiency certificate
- video self-presentation (1–3 minutes)
