On June 24, 2025, Comrat State University hosted a working meeting with a group of staff from the Geography Laboratory of the Institute of Ecology and Geography of Moldova State University. From Comrat State University, the meeting was attended by: Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations, Assoc. Prof., PhD, Svetlana Ghenova; Dean of the Agro-Technological Faculty, Assoc. Prof., Dr. habil. Serghei Cara; and Head of the Scientific Library, Janna Garceva. The delegation from the Institute of Ecology and Geography was headed by Dr., Senior Researcher Aureliu Overchenko. The meeting focused on discussing key areas for future cooperation and the preparation of inter-institutional partnership agreements. The parties agreed on tentative dates for follow-up meetings and working visits. As a result of the meeting, atlases of the Yalpug basin and electronic cartographic materials were handed over to the fund of the Scientific Library of Comrat State University. These resources can be used by teachers and students for educational and research purposes.
