On July 2, 2025, the M. Marunevici Scientific Research Center of Gagauzia hosted a scientific-practical seminar titled: “Scientific Electronic Platforms and Their Role in Promoting Research Results.”
The seminar was organized within the framework of cooperation programs between the M. Marunevici Scientific Research Center of Gagauzia and Comrat State University.
The seminar was prepared and led by Chiurcciu Vitali, coordinator of the EURAXESS Regional Center (CSU) and lecturer at the "Accounting and Finance" department.
The aim of this scientific-practical seminar was:
- to raise awareness among the staff of the M. Marunevici Scientific Research Center of Gagauzia regarding the possibilities offered by scientific electronic platforms;
- to ensure the expansion of open access for scientists from various countries to the publications of the Center's staff and to increase the citation index;
- to acquire practical skills in working with electronic platforms.
Eight employees of the M. Marunevici Scientific Research Center of Gagauzia participated in the seminar.
During the event, discussions were held on the role and significance of scientific electronic platforms in the process of promoting research results. Statistical data on the use of such platforms by the Center's staff were presented, along with an overview of the following electronic scientific platforms: National Bibliometric Instrument, ORCID, academia.edu, Google Scholar, and ResearchGate.net.
