You are cordially invited to the opening of the exhibition “The Famine in Moldova 1946–1947. History and Memory in Gagauzia.” The exhibition is dedicated to one of the most tragic chapters of our history and reveals the preconditions, causes, and consequences of the 1946–1947 famine in Gagauzia, presenting to the academic community and the general public unique archival documents, many of which were previously inaccessible and are now being displayed publicly for the first time

The exhibition is organized within a project carried out in cooperation with the National Museum of History of Moldova, Avdarma Village History Museum as part of the National Program “Access to Culture 2025” of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Moldova.The opening of the exhibition will take place on 8 December 2025 at 12:30, at Comrat State University, in the foyer of the 4th floor of the academic building.
